The Best Birth Control In The World Is For Men by Jon Clinkenbeard
If I were going to describe the perfect contraceptive, it would go something like this: no babies, no latex, no daily pill to remember, no hormones to interfere with mood or sex drive, no negative health effects whatsoever, and 100 percent effectiveness. The funny thing is, something like that currently exists.
The procedure called RISUG in India (reversible inhibition of sperm under guidance) takes about 15 minutes with a doctor, is effective after about three days, and lasts for 10 or more years…
Oh, and when you do decide you want those babies, it only takes one other injection of water and baking soda to flush out the gel, and within two to three months, you’ve got all your healthy sperm again.
The trouble is, most people don’t even know this exists. And if men only need one super-cheap shot every 10 years or more, that’s not something that gets big pharmaceutical companies all fired up, because they’ll make zero money on it (even if it might have the side benefit of, you know, destroying HIV).

BRO
We’re all aware that obviously no you can’t, right?
privileged white kids w/ wanderlust smfh
except that not everyone can afford plane tickets at the drop of a hat just because they want to ~change their life~
and those who can’t afford plane tickets generally wouldn’t be able to just walk/drive away either
unless they wanted to end up on the streets
bc that is what happens when you don’t have a house or a job
Being homeless is a life changing experience technically >.>
well yeah, for sure, but it’s certainly not as romantic and whimsical as the kind of “life changing experience” I imagine the OP was trying to promote…
Nope. No.
One way plane/bus tickets cost less than a week’s work at minimum wage.
Most people have some kind of friends or family or support somewhere in the world. Are we calling people who can afford telecommunications an elite privileged group? Because even super poor people have internet friends or cousins or grandparents they can stay with.
If you don’t have those people then it’s a result of being anti-social.
Everyone’s bullshit response to this post is just re-enforcing the bullshit mindset that getting up and moving is just a thing that requires a lot of money and only for people who are rich. It doesn’t require a lot of money, it requires being okay with not having money.
I don’t understand how you people are making this logical leap.
“This thing is only for RICH PEOPLE or for HOBOS.” ???
Like there’s no middle ground between “rich” and “hobo”? It’s either you’re a privileged millionaire or you’re homeless?
A bus ticket anywhere is less than $100 and it is socially acceptable to crash with most acquaintances for at least two weeks which is the amount of time that any reasonable industrious person could find a job.
This post is sentimentally worded but it’s being VERY SPECIFIC in that it is saying “remember that you can change your life in an instant by moving and the only person who is stopping you is you” and that is a VERY TRUE STATEMENT and has nothing to do with class or wealth or privilege.
fuck this shit, I’m going to Hawaii

Did you know that this scene was entirely unscripted? Johnny Depp just kinda went with this and no one stopped him, so the reactions’ on the other actors’ faces are their actual reactions to Depp’s shenanigans.
makes the scene 100000 times better omfg
you can even see orlando glancing at the people behind the camera as if asking what is going on
johnny depp is my spirit animal
